LESSGO privacy policy

Updated: 3 November 2026 · Android and iOS application

Your missions, notes, memories and screen-time data stay on your device. The optional account and subscription management use separate online services. This policy explains these activities and your choices.

1. Controller and contact

LESSGO is published by 11.42, a French single-member simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with share capital of €1,000, SIREN 852 626 837, whose registered office is at 50 boulevard Jean Jaurès, 92110 Clichy, France. 11.42 is the controller for the processing described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@1142.io.

2. Data stored on your device

LESSGO locally saves your virtual companion, preferences (including language), missions, sessions, activity dates, progress, rewards, time balance, notes and journal responses. Photos and descriptions you choose to keep as memories are also stored locally. LESSGO does not send this content to Supabase or RevenueCat or synchronize it between your devices.

This information provides the features you request: mission tracking, personalization, journaling and time management. History, export and local data deletion remain accessible without an active subscription. Operating-system backups may include some app data depending on your Apple or Google settings.

3. Permissions and optional features

Screen time and app blocking

On Android, usage access reads foreground app events to calculate usage of your selected apps. Selected app identifiers, rules and counters are processed on your device. If you separately enable LESSGO’s accessibility service, it detects the identity of the foreground app to enforce your blocking rules and can return to the home screen when your time runs out. It does not read text or window content, capture your screen or perform gestures. This data is not sent to our servers or used for advertising.

On iOS, screen-time features use permissions and private selections provided by the system. You can disable these permissions in your phone’s settings. Refusing limits the corresponding monitoring or blocking features.

Camera and memories

For physical challenges, camera images are analyzed on the device to detect movement and count repetitions. These images are neither recorded nor uploaded. Only relevant results, including repetition counts, earned time and activity dates, are saved locally. Photos you explicitly choose to keep as memories are a separate feature: they stay in your private local gallery and can be exported or deleted. LESSGO does not request microphone access.

Notifications and widgets

Notifications are optional local alerts: a daily invitation, a finished timer or an empty time balance. You control reminders and quiet hours and can revoke permission in system settings. Widgets locally receive your companion, dated time balance and mission progress for display on your home screen.

4. Optional account

You can use LESSGO without creating an account; an active subscription is required after onboarding. If you choose to create an account or sign in, Supabase processes your email address to send a sign-in code, an account identifier, profile language, session information and technical connection data needed for authentication and security, such as IP addresses and timestamps. LESSGO does not ask you to create a password.

Your account identifier may be shared with RevenueCat to retrieve associated subscription entitlements. Signing in does not upload your notes, photos or missions to cloud storage.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Google Play or the App Store processes payments. LESSGO does not receive your payment card number. RevenueCat manages purchase validation, access entitlements, renewals and restoration: it processes an app user identifier (anonymous or linked to an account), purchased products, receipts or purchase tokens, subscription dates and status, and technical information needed for the service, including device type, operating system and service connections. This processing also applies to subscriptions without a LESSGO account.

Cancel through the store that charged you. Clearing local data, uninstalling LESSGO or deleting your LESSGO account does not cancel your subscription.

6. Recipients, advertising and hosting

We do not sell your data. LESSGO has no advertising network or advertising tracking. Online data necessary for accounts and subscriptions is processed by our providers Supabase and RevenueCat. Google and Apple process data for their stores and operating systems under their own policies. If you email us, 11.42 and its email service process your address and message to respond. An export or share you initiate sends files to the destination you choose.

These web pages are hosted by Vercel; accessing them involves technical processing of your IP address and request information needed for delivery and security. This does not provide access to your local app data.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Transfers subject to the GDPR must be covered by applicable safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards applying to your data. Provider information: Supabase, RevenueCat, Google, Apple and Vercel.

7. Purposes, legal bases and security

Providing the features you request, the optional account and subscription relies on performance of a contract. Optional access relies on your choices and permissions, which you can withdraw at any time. Security, abuse prevention and handling inquiries rely on our legitimate interests; legal obligations apply to information we must retain.

Connections to online services use HTTPS. Authentication tokens are kept in the operating system’s secure storage on mobile. Local data is stored in the app’s storage area; this is not a guarantee that all content is encrypted. Protect your phone and exports, which may contain your notes and photos.

8. Retention, export and account deletion

Local data: it stays on your device until deleted. In LESSGO’s Privacy section, you can export data and photos, then use the local data deletion action. Memories can also be deleted from the gallery. Uninstalling or clearing app data may remove your history; copies may remain in system backups or exports, which you manage separately.

LESSGO account: account information is retained while the account exists. In the app’s Account section, open Delete my account and confirm. This deletes the authentication account and associated profile and requires an internet connection. Delete local data separately in Privacy.

Web request, even without the app: email contact@1142.io with the subject “LESSGO account deletion”, preferably from the address linked to your account. State that you want your account and associated data deleted. Never send passwords or sign-in codes. We may verify your identity before processing the request and will inform you of the outcome. You can also request deletion of online data linked to an anonymous subscription by providing a relevant purchase reference, without full payment card details.

Subscriptions and other online data: deleting the account in the app does not automatically delete all RevenueCat or store records. We handle deletion requests with the relevant providers. Transaction data needed to manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations or handle disputes may be kept for as long as needed for those purposes; other data must be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Support messages are kept while handling the request and, if necessary, resolving a dispute. Contact us for retention periods applicable to your situation.

We respond to data rights requests within the GDPR timeframe, normally one month; a reasoned extension may be needed where the law allows. To stop payments, cancel your subscription separately in Google Play or the App Store.

9. Your rights and policy updates

Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent. Email contact@1142.io. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your competent supervisory authority.

This policy covers the features described above. Changes in processing will lead to an updated policy and, where necessary, new information or a new choice in the app.
